I'm a freediver and photographer born and raised in Kauai, Hawaii. My love for photography started as a love for the ocean, growing up exploring the unique reefs and marine life around Kauai. As I grew older, my fascination with the underwater world only deepened.
In 2013, I took my first freediving course with Kurt Chambers, a renowned deep diver in the USA, which eventually lead me into the sport of competitive freediving.
In 2019, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Xibalba Freediving Competition in Mexico, marking my first international event. It was there that I achieved the title of the first national record holder for the constant weight bi-fins discipline, reaching 78 meters (255ft).
It was around this time that I invested in my first camera and began documenting my dives— taking photos of all the interesting wildlife, coral and seascapes.
I am grateful to be doing the work I love professionally as a portrait and brand photographer, working alongside my partner, Marley, and her design studio, Siren Creative Co.
I take immense joy in my work, and love photographing a variety of subjects, from couples and families to marine life and brands.
